TYSON AND BILLY ARCHITECTS AND BRADLEY & BRADLEY ARCHITECTS MERGE
Rockford, Illinois (January 11, 2017) – Tyson and Billy Architects and Bradley and Bradley Architects are pleased to announce a recent merger of the firms. Bradley and Bradley Architects is now a division of Tyson and Billy Architects, with Usha Sundaram serving as President of the division. The Bradley and Bradley division will have a focus on K-12 and higher education, ecclesiastical, senior living, healthcare, retail and commercial clients. Tyson and Billy Architects, headed by Ronald G. Billy, Jr. will continue to focus on multi-family housing, senior living, public sector projects, not-for-profit and private clients.
This new merger will combine the expertise of the two oldest architectural practices in the area. Bradley and Bradley Architects, founded in 1887, is the third oldest architectural firm in Illinois and one of the oldest in the United States is celebrating 130 years of practice in 2017. Tyson and Billy Architects, established in 1919 as the practice of Jesse Barloga is celebrating 98 years of practice this year. Both firms were established in Rockford and have had a continuing presence in the city. The firms are licensed in; Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arizona.
